Well, hello there. So happy to see you. I am back... kind of. It is hard for me to update. I do not a computer at home, currently. So... I only get to check things at work. Considering the fact that I have worked over 40 hours in 4 days... I am a little tired, leaving not much time for playing around. I am back in Houston, working on Boris Godunov. My first Russian opera. It is hard to follow along with the music, considering I can't read it. Thankfully someone went back into it and wrote the russian in phonetically, making it a little easier.
I had a hurricane. Well, *I* didn't... but my city did. Thankfully it veered east and we only got the tail end of it. It was scary none the less.
I got a kitten. Her name is Nessa. She is actually Purr-C from the previous entries. She is in that stage where she doesn't like me to pick her up, pet her, she won't come, she on the bed or anything. I feel like I am a horrible mommy and she hates me... everyone else says it's a phase all kittens go through and she will grow out of it. I miss the days where she would sit in my lap and purr so hard it sounded like something was loose. :) I hope it returns again soon. Other kitten owners out there, did you go through that stage with yours?? I will try to post a picture of her later. She is beautiful.
Ok. It is late. I have been up forever, and I am very tired. I am going to go home now.

Glad to hear you are safe and sound and all, if busy :)

Your laptop will hopefully be shipped Monday. It is ready and boxed and everything, but we've literally been working on moving for two weeks, so we havent' been to the post office yet. I'm going Monday on my lunchbreak.

When we got Lain, for the first few months she got freaked out whenever she was picked up, and she eventually grew out of it. Taco is very active, so it became increasingly harder to hold him because he always wants to run away and play. He is just starting to be a bit calmer. Overall, we have just tried to adapt to what they are comfortable with, and over time that has changed some. For instance, I was sad that none of these three did happy feet, but now Lain does. Whee :)
